Due to the success of the "12 Days of Christmas Kindness" in 4th grade, Ms. Holmes has started the Random Act of Kindness program here at Western Hills. There is a "Have the Courage to Be Kind" bulletin board in the third grade hallway. Students and staff members are encouraged to stop at a convenient time to check it out. On the board there is a pocket chart filled with note cards. Students will be allowed to take them, one at a time, and complete whatever act of kindness they have drawn. When completed, they will write their name, date, and what they did on the back of the card. They will return the completed cards to their teacher who will deliver them to Ms. Holmes. She will post all of the completed tasks on the board. Let's make a difference and have the courage to be kind!
