As we strive to develop community awareness in our students by outreaching to those in need, we are initiating a spare change coin drive challenge to benefit the library of Royalwood Elementary School in Sheldon ISD, which was decimated by Hurricane Harvey. We chose Royalwood Elementary because one of our 2nd grade teachers worked there for 9 years before coming to Western Hills. The coin challenge will begin on Wednesday October 11th and run through the completion of the Book Fair on October 28th. The classroom that collects the most money will receive a Pinata Party! Together we can make a difference and help our adopted school rebuild.
