Welcome to Coach Walker's Physical Education Class!
In P.E., the focuses is developing students physical fitness and the ability to perform and enjoy day-to-day physical activities with ease. Students will develop skills necessary to participate in a wide range of activities. Students will also be physically and mentally active, fit and healthy into adulthood. Hopefully, this site will answer many questions throughout the year.
Here are somethings we do in PE
FitnessGram® is the most widely used youth physical fitness assess-ment, education and reporting tool in the world. Based on Healthy Fitness Zone® standards, created by the FitnessGram Scientific Advi-sory Board, FitnessGram uses criterion-based standards, carefully established for each age and gender.
FitnessGram assesses the five components of health-related fitness: Aerobic Capacity, Muscular Strength, Muscular Endurance, Flexibility, and Body Composition.
