Parents can now see their children's STAAR test scores in the Parent Portal. Please watch this video for a step by step guide on how to access your children's STAAR results.

KWTX News 10 covered the 3rd grade Bonnie Plants Cabbage Judging Contest held on Friday February 10th. Cabbages were judged on overall appearance, size, and weight. In 1st place was Deyauna Milton, 2nd place Vaughn McQuiston, and 3rd place went to Elizabeth Collins.

The Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) program, was implemented with fidelity during the 2015-2016 school year. Due to the success of the program, Top Dog Napoleon Rios decided to continue it for the 2016-2017 school year. The dads volunteer for an entire school day and help with tutoring, car duty, lunch duty, and most importantly, serve as mentors for the students at our school. The WHES PTO hosted a wonderful "Donuts With Dad" breakfast this morning in the library. We had a great turnout and appreciate our PTO for putting on this outstanding event!
