Bluebonnet Reading Extravaganza! Students who completed the Bluebonnet Reading Challenge attended a field trip to the Temple Public Library this morning with other schools in the district for the Bluebonnet Reading Extravaganza!
WHES and Mrs. Baxter Win Week 2 of Survivor TISD Roadrunners Rock! Western Hills was the campus wide winner of Survivor TISD Week 2. We had the highest participation percentage out of all the campuses in the district. Congratulations to 2nd grade teacher, Christina Baxter, on winning the teacher drawing and a $100 H-E-B gift card. WHES Outstanding Citizens Trip to RWYC Students who received the 4th Six Weeks Outstanding Citizens Award traveled to the new Ralph Wilson Youth Club last week to celebrate their achievement of Perfect Attendance, Outstanding Behavior, and Excellent Academics. Way to go Roadrunners!
WHES PTO Night At Wheels Skate Center The Western Hills PTO will hold a fundraiser at Wheels Family Skate Center in Temple on Thursday March 3rd from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Parents are not required to skate but they must accompany their child to the event (no drop-offs). Tickets are $4 and you can rent skates for $3 or bring your own for free.
